Our training policy reflects our dedication to train and develop our youths to be successful in their journey with the company, as we encourage them to walk with us in our pursuit to excellence in order to be the best in its class. We encourage our sea going officers to be available to lend their expertise in nurturing our youths. Our mentoring and system on board our ships has helped us with providing support to our promotion-in-ranks programme. The pairing of senior officers with our junior ones will help the latter to be adept with the duties and responsibilities. This system was designed to aid the juniors in instilling confidence and to create an avenue for their promotions in a more efficient manner.
We also incorporate enhancement-training programmes, which are beyond the basic STCW requirements. These programmes bridge the gaps for superior performance on board our ships to meet the high expectations of our customers.
